Decorative Concrete Surrey

A commercial client of ours wanted stairs that looked like marble in their office. We used decorative concrete and stained the stairs to look like marble. This commercial client is in Surrey.

It has become very popular because of its affordability, durability, and versatility compared to those of other materials. A large concrete patio can now be constructed to look and feel like wood! Decorative concrete has a ton of possibilities. We’ll be delighted to show all of them to you.

With decorative concrete, you can mix and match different types together to construct a very special look and appearance! Stamped Concrete

Stamping concrete, also known as textures or imprinted concrete, is a simple way of using your creativity in an elegant manner.Use your own unlimited imagination to brainstorm what to do with stamped concrete because there are many different types of rubber stamps and colour options. You can easily have your concrete look like cobblestone, limestone, brick, slate, or even tiles by using this combination.

Add some pizzazzto your driveway, floors, pathways, and of course, patio!
Do what we’ve done by combining stamped and exposed aggregate together to create your favorite looks and designs, which are bound to be truly unique and original!
It’s going to look amazing and incredible when you see your driveway with exposed aggregate in the middle, bordered by a brick-like stamped design!
This is a stamped concrete patio in the backyard of our Surrey client's home. This look is achieved through the use of decorative concrete.
This unique look is achieved through the use of exposed aggregate concrete, which is a type of decorative concrete. This photo was taken in Surrey.

Exposed Aggregate Concrete

Exposed aggregate concrete is a very simple yet visually appealing finish that you can have and it’s been around forever. It produces stunning areas that can look like seas of small stones and pebbles!

This happens by pouring a concrete mix with some higher sediment content so there’s a higher surface of rock content to work with. After the concrete is poured, the top layer is taken off to "expose" what’s beneath the surface. Different kinds, shapes, and sizes of rocks that can be used in the concrete mix to produce surfaces are available to you. The texture you get from the stones makes exposed aggregate truly amazing.

It’s a great concrete material to be used for stairs, driveways, pathways, pool decks, and even patios.

Stained Concrete

Staining concrete can be a spectacular way to finish your new project or restore and liven your old concrete!

The process will actually penetrate the surface and will allow light to pass through.  Staining wood has a similar effect. Colouring concrete with paints or acrylics is ineffective because it puts an opaque layer on top of the concrete. Paints and acrylics can peel over time and ultimately cost you more money, time, and maintenance.

Another unique aspect of staining concrete is that it creates a very, very luxurious feel. Staining concrete can allow us to create visual effects that look similar to natural stone, polished marble, or even the color of stained wood!
Our client wanted her floor to look special and we stained the concrete flooring to give off a luxurious look. This photo is taken in Surrey, British Columbia.
