Our team puts the cleanliness of your property as a top priority and we take many steps to ensure that. During the prep process, your baseboards are taped and any areas that dust can enter is sealed. A dust control system is also put in place to help promote ventilation during the process.
Once the prep work is done and the site is ready to be worked on, we start by grinding off any impurities on the surface. This could be bacteria, drywall, paint, or anything else on the surface. These impurities are removed to ensure the bond with any floor you install is strong for years in the future. The floor is then vacuumed and inspected for any cracks or damages to the concrete slab. If there is any damage, we do a quick fix by caulking for cracks or using a patch material for general damaged areas. When we determine the surface to be cleaned and ready to be worked on, we first seal the floor with a primer which help with the bonding between the flooring and the sub floor. The concrete is then ready to be poured once the primer is dried. Our team has created a process which allows for fast paced concrete pour to ensure the entire surface dries together and remains level as one unit.
